In this research, We build a numerical model to analyze therneffect of a side on crash on a Child Restraint System (CRS)rnusing multi-body crash analysis software MADYMO to clarifyrnthe damage small children receive in a crash.rnFirstly, We conduct a frontal experiment to create a modelrnwhich measures head and thorax acceleration and imagerndata. We create analysis model using MADYMO. Thernanalysis model is divided into four portions: a test sheet,rnCRS, harness, and a child dummy. The analysis modelrnchecked that it was appropriate till 130 ms.rnSecondly, A side crash experiment is conducted to creaternand verify a side crash CRS model. Head and thoraxrnacceleration and image data are measured identically to arnfrontal crash model. This model's validity by 300 msrnThirdly, to create the analysis model for a side crash, we userna Q3 child dummy for TNO. The validity of a crash from thernside direction for which Q3 child dummy was developed, isrncarefully verified at TNO[1].rnFinally, The influence of the small child on a side-impactrncrash is verified using the created model for side crashrnevaluation.
