摘要

The impact of industry on the environment has increased dramatically. This is reason for introducing of some ecological directives over the entire world,as WEEE,RoHS and EuP. This paper deals with basic approaches in order to address environmental problems and implement the tools for Eco-design application in the electric/electronic design praxis. This area is very important,because about 80% of all product-related environmental effects are determined during the product design period. Hence,it is critically important to consider environmental aspects as integral part of product design,which has continuity with economical result. "Eco-design = Ecology + Economy" is the formula for environmental product design. The what,why and how of environmental protection through Eco-design is more detailed in this paper
