摘要

The reason why sustainability criteria at the time have hardly any influence on the choice of arnbridge design is that it is an extensive procedure which takes too much time to be done during thernplanning phase and so mostly the cheapest building price is thedecisivefactor. For easily makingrndecisions with a holistic view, it is important to know the key factors that really have a noteworthyrninfluence on the sustainability, considering the whole life cycle and not only the construction phase.rnTherefore, sustainability assessment is carried out on several bridges with similar boundaryrnconditions. Itwasfound thatone of themost important parametersis a correctpicture ofrnfuturescenariosandthat one structureshould alwaysbeconsideredonlyas partof an entireconstructionrnstage.
