As a part of the Indira Gandhi International Airport 20 year development master plan, a new AirrnTraffic Control Tower is needed to be built at the airport. The development at the airport is requiredrnto service the ever increasing travelling needs of the residents and visitors of New Delhi and India.rnThe proposed 100m tall tower will be one of the tallest Air Traffic Control Tower in the world.rnGiven the height of the tower, the required 24 hour operations and the architectural aspirations of arnslender aesthetically pleasing form, it required the design team to solve numerous issues with thernbuilding dynamics and controlling the accelerations to ensure the occupancy comfort.
