摘要

To some extent, absorptive capacity is a vital factor for construction firms to keep a sustainable, innovative and competitive advantage in a dynamic environment. This paper reviews former studies on dynamic capability theory, competitive advantage and knowledge absorptive capacity. And according to dynamic capability theory, the paper indicates knowledge absorptive capability as a kind of organizational capability which is provided with dynamic capability form. Based on this point of view, the paper analyzes the relationship between absorptive capacity and competitive advantage of construction firms, and then constructs an action mechanism model to explain the action of absorptive capacity on the construction firms competitiveness.
