Optimization methods of distinct algorithms are useful methods of minimizing or maximizing objective function in electrical engineering issues. Optimization methods such as Cuckoo Algorithm, Firefly Algorithm, Simulated Annealing Algorithm and Genetic Algorithm generally used when the issue is extremely nonlinear and high-dimensional. The proposed work is implemented for optimum solution of different issues of overcurrent relays (OCRs) in microgrids.
