摘要

The purpose of this article is the diagnosis and detection of the stator and rotor faults in induction machine in the presence of the broken bar fault at the rotor level and the stator inter-turn short circuit by two techniques which is an effective solution for the diagnosis of defects. They are based on the signature analysis of the stator current by the fast Fourier transform (FFT) in regime stationary and the analysis by the discrete wavelet transform (DWT). Through the energy stored in each decomposition level obtained by wavelet analysis which gives the advantageous information to decide the situation of each fault and distinguish between the types of faults. The fault signature analysis of the induction machine performed in a healthy and defective state.
