Initially Scalar & Vector regulated drives such as Adjustable Frequency drive & F.O.C control was used in many industrial applications. Recent advancement in mechanization has led to the development of high controlling drives. Direct Torque Control (DTC) has made a profound impact, due to its definite and rapid control of motor's flux and torque without any ambiguous computation. This paper discusses with the response of change in sector region in traditional DTC and its effect on the main parameters that is Torque and Flux.
