We study the diagnostics of China's statistical data in the framework of linear regression model. Using case-deletion method we detect the outliers and influential observations in China's statistical data in order to assess the quality of China's gross domestic product (GDP) data since reform. Our study implies that China's GDP data seems relatively reliable.
