This article presents a study of the search for ways to improve and increase the energy efficiency of heat supply systems of the city of Blagoveshchensk, Amur region. The reform of housing and communal services of the country is connected with the introduction of energy-saving technologies, and with the problems of reconstruction of heating systems of residential areas, small financing of the industry, reducing the reliability and quality of the heat supply system as a whole. Due to the intensive growth of construction of residential complexes of the city, development of territories, a sharp rise in industry, the demand for thermal energy is steadily growing. The article analyzes the structure of the existing district heating system of the city of Blagoveshchensk and its features. The main problems of the heat supply system are determined. The assessment of energy saving potential in this industry on the example of the city of Blagoveshchensk of the Amur region is carried out and the optimal solutions for achieving a significant increase in energy efficiency of heat supply systems are determined.
