The Research of the Characteristics of Secondary Equipment Device and Airflow Jet

In the large space and span building, secondary airflow equipment with nozzle's jet could notably improve the uniformity of temperature and velocity distribution of indoor thermal environment, as well as the occupant's comfort in the work area. Therefore, it is very important to reveal the characteristics of the secondary airflow equipment with nozzle's jet. In this paper, we regarded the secondary airflow equipment as the research object, and measured its single machine performance and the jet characteristics in an actual large space building. We found that air outlet diameter, air static pressure, air velocity, power, total pressure, and sound pressure level of the equipment would increase along with the increase of rotational speed. When the horizontal distance increased, the axis velocity of secondary airflow decreased both in isothermal jet conditions and non-isothermal jet conditions. Through this experimental study, we provided characteristic parameters of the secondary airflow equipment for actual construction design.
