Based on the NBS conserved domains, degenerate primers were designed to amplify resistance gene analogs ( RGAs) from soybean. Four RGAs segment were obtained from Harbin Xiaoheidou ( Glycine max L. Merr. ) , which have been registered in the GenBank (accession number; AY750709-AY750712). Sequence analysis indicated that amino acid deduced from the four RGAs have characteristic structure of known R genes, such as P-loop (GGVGKTT) , kinase-2a (VLDD) , kinase-3a (GSRII) and HD (GL-PAL).
