摘要

Control of longitudinal movement of suspended deck is a critical issue of the design of long span cable stayed bridge. Longitudinal movement and sectional forces of tower at the base of cable stayed bridge with main span of 1,000m are calculated to demonstrate how this issue is critical. Possible measures to control the longitudinal movement are briefly introduced and how they work to restrain the longitudinal movement hence optimize the sectional force of tower at the base of the same cable stayed bridge is calculated. Finally, favorable measures to control the longitudinal movement of suspended deck of the long span cable stayed bridge is proposed.
