摘要

Based on the concept of seismic control, dual structure systems aiming at improving the shortcoming of traditional seismic structures was proposed for seismic design model by the second author. The seismic design performance objectives at different earthquake levels were previewed first in this paper. Under small earthquake and moderate earthquake levels, the elastic response spectrum method and equal cyclic energy criteria are adopted respectively to determine the parameters of the secondary structure in the dual seismic structure system. The inelastic seismic response under the severe earthquakes showed that the structure designed based on the suggested method had a suitable seismic performance.
