摘要

Reinforced concrete shear wall is a kind of main vertical structural element of high-rise buildings to resist earthquakes. In order to perform push over analysis in the displacement-based seismic design of buildings, a simple, rational macro-model of shear wall is developed in this paper. The macro-model is composed of two kinds of element: concrete column element and concrete membrane element. In push-over analysis the shear wall is divided into layers along its height, and the wall panel is divided into columns. Two adjacent layers are connected by a rigid beam. There are only three degrees of freedom for one layer. A method called single degree of freedom compensation is adopted to solve the ill-conditioned equations, by which a complete capacity curve can be obtained. Experimental study of four shear wall specimens was carried out and the specimens were analyzed by the developed program. The analytical results have good agreement with the test results.
