摘要

The fossil energy (e.g. fossil oil, natural gas, coal) in the world is limited. It would be unavailable if fossil energy is consumed in the same increasing rate as that of today. In our country, the possession of fossil energy per person is only one-third of its world average, and 95% of energy is imported to the Taiwan area. One of the major environmental problems, at present, is green-house effect in the whole globe, which results from a large amount of carbon dioxide. The more fossil energy is used, the more carbon dioxide is given off. In many cities in North China, the concentration of aerosol is 9.6 times as much as the Acceptable Concentration Level set by the World Health Organization(WHO), and acid rain has been found in many areas. Solar energy is a new power source with a long history, which is characterized by large quantity, easy to obtain, safety, cleanness. Therefore, it has little effect in destroying the ecology balance. Thus world exploitation and utilization of solar energy is an urgent solution to the green-house problem. Solar energy can be used in many fields, including such as in electric power generation, but still today there is relatively mature commercial technology usage except in solar heat transfer. Consequently, this paper inquires into not only solar heat transfer but solar electricity transfer.
