During the 4th fall outage of 1998,Qinshan Nuclear Power Corporation (QNPC) discovered damage on the lower internals (below the core support plate) of Qinshan Unit (Q1). The goal of the CFD analysis is to provide core inlet flow distribution of Q1 design and to provide a base for design improvement to eliminate flow induced vibration.
