摘要

CMS-M2D is a depth-averaged numerical model that computes two-dimensional horizontal circulation including interacting waves and currents, sediment transport, and morphology change. A capability has been implemented in the Coastal Modeling System (CMS)-M2D for calculating sediment transport and morphology change by the advection-diffusion sediment transport formulation. Through simulations of channel infilling and representative inlet processes, it is demonstrated that the model is appropriate for calculating coastal inlet processes.
