1. 1995 -2002 Romanian CIS Modernization has been considered as one of the most important priority (+ $ 210 M); 2. Acquisition Plans are being supported by Partners from NATO Countries (US, UK and Italy); 3. System Architecture is being developed according to NATO Common Operating Environment Requirements; 4. Lessons Learned from Operations and NATO/ PfP Exercises (e.g. Combined Endeavor, Strong Resolve, etc.) are currently embedded in our development plans; 5. We can provide CIS supporting capabilities for current and future deployable forces; 6. Romania has already in place a NATO interoperable CIS Capability, currently providing connectivity for the most important HQs and Active Forces Units 7. NATO/ US Assistance give us valuable tools in the C4 Interoperability Framework.
