摘要

A new multimedia teaching material library system on the net is discussed in the article. In this system, a discipline is divided into many knowledge points, according to which CAI courseware is made. The courseware forms an open multimedia material library and the materials are managed and queried on Web database server. Teachers can prepare lessons by gathering and combining multimedia materials to generate one or more HTML files, which can be browsed on Intranet or Internet through browser.
