The investigation was made on non-metallic inclusions by adding different tracing elements into ladle slag, tundish flux and tundish lining. By means of metallgraphic, electrolysis, EPMA and SEM observations, the inclusions source, size and distribution were studied. The measures for improving the cleanliness of low Carbon Al-killed Steel are proposed to Handan CSP process.
