This paper addresses the synchronization problem of coupled chaotic cellular neural networks with delays. A state-feedback scheme is derived to achieve the state synchronization of two identical chaotic neural networks. Based on the Lyapunov stability method and the Halanay inequality lemma, a delay independent sufficient exponential synchronization condition is derived and relies on the suitable designed coupling matrix in the response networks. Furthermore, one synchronization example of the chaotic cellular neural networks with delays is also given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented synchronization scheme.
