摘要

The aim of this paper is to present a Performance Evaluation System for Balanced Scorecard (BSC) based on fuzzy multiple attribute decision making (FMADM) method. The individuals' opinions on are described by linguistic terms, which can be expressed in trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. A group consensus condition is defined to aggregate the fuzzy ratings of decision-makers. In this approach, the important performance ratings of different criteria assigned by evaluators are expressed in linguistic terms. Trapezoidal fuzzy numbers are used to approximate the linguistic terms, and a simple fuzzy arithmetical operation is employed to aggregate these fuzzy numbers into one fuzzy number. Finally, empirical result is shown to highlight the procedure of the proposed method at the end of this paper. This method not only efficiently and effectively handles vague or ill-defined information, but can also be easily used by most real-world decision making processes.
