The paper takes five reservoirs as examples for study, the theory of element analy-sis is applied to the consequences of dam risk assessment in the paper, AHP Method is used to calculate the weights of the factors, correlation is used to determine dam risk rating. Be-cause the negative correlation is introduced in the element analysis, the integrity of the infor-mation is ensured, the evaluation results are more objective, accurate. Application shows that the model of a more objective response to the dam level of risk,the risk for the conse-quences of the dam provides a comprehensive evaluation of new ways.
