Wild value deviating from targeted truth value often occurs in safety monitoring of dam; to effectively detect the quality of observation data and diagnose wild value, the text first analyzes the creator of wild value, based on two kinds of technology for diagnosing wild value, i.e., residual analysis based on numeral Statistic and random obscure diagnostic tech-nique based on probability. To verify reasonableness of the method, the text applies it to the analysis for monitoring data of construction period of Yanshan Reservoir, thereby getting better result.
