摘要

A study of the influence of hydrodynamic factors on erosion-corrosion damage of an air cooler is carried out.The shear stress acting on wall of air cooler tube and turbulence intensity of fluid are the main hydrodynamic factors causing erosion-corrosion damage.Experiments and CFD simulation have been conducted.An empirical formula is proposed for predicting erosion-corrosion rate.The predicted results from the formula for air cooler tubes in a petrochemical corporation are consistent with inspection results.
