摘要

Design term of exploitation of power units with WWER-1000, WWER-440 reactors is equal to 30 years. There are the programs of pressure vessel WWER-1000 reactors modernization, realization of which can extend their life time at least by 10 years. During exploitation of NPP power units it is necessary to take into account not only their technical data, design and operating perfection but also,and this is very important,their ecological safe exploitation for the environment, that is their strength, reliability and life time. For assessment of the serviceability of structural materials for NPP equipment under the conditions of their long-term exploitation (aggressive environments, irradiation, high temperatures and mechanical stresses) it is necessary to investigate the changes of physical and mechanical characteristics of materials (including HNS) under such conditions and to establish the criteria of assessment of durability, reliability and life time of NPP equipment structural elements.
