With the advancement and adaptation of Web Services, it provides a good opportunity to integrate heterogeneous information systems in a standard way. In this paper, we propose an integration framework to orchestrate different information systems for Administration for Industry and Commerce (AIC) using Web Services. The feasibility of this framework is demonstrated by using distributed nationwide trademark registration systems. The business entities and services are registered in to a private UDDI Registry. Further, the security and asynchronous invocation mechanism of Web Services used in our system are also discussed. The conclusions and future research and development directions are given in the end of this paper.
