A new QND-like measurement experimental scheme with a photon-number squeezed light beam and a beam splitter is proposed. Within the scheme the input signal beam is a modulated coherent beam and the meter beam is a photon-number squeezed light beam coming from a diode laser with optical feedback. The meter beam enters the usual vacuum port of the beam splitter, and then couples with the signal beam at the beam splitter.
