This article introduces the useful attempts we have made since GNPS went to operations, and the valuable work of how to use the parameter of vibration, which reflects comprehensively equipment status, to make status evaluation, trend analysis and fault diagnosis. Besides, combining with the practical conditions, it also inquires into the prospects of how to further improve the status monitoring system of rotating equipment and carry out its predictive maintenance.
