摘要

This paper describes development and utilization of an optimization model and algorithm, which determines optimum machining parameters for the efficient milling operations. The optimization model has been solved by Sequential Quadratic Programming (SQP) method. These optimum parameters are intended for use on NC machines, however, they can also be used on conventional machines.
