摘要

Presently, robots are widely being used in various applications (starting from industrial applications to medical applications). It is imperative that a robot must have intelligent capabilities such as adaptation, learning and evolution. This paper deals with the evolution of robot intelligence. Computational intelligence including neural network and genetic algorithm has been discussed for realizing human intelligence from the viewpoint of human behaviour. The soccer robot system consists of multi agents with highly coordinated operation and movements so as to fulfil specific objectives. This paper aims at the intelligent decision making part of the robot soccer system. To fulfil this task, a neural network using an evolutionary approach is discussed.
