Manufacturing is vital for global competitiveness. To succeed in manufacturing, an organization must have the ability to implement new processes and technologies. To be competitive in the manufacture of quality products, Precision Engineering plays a vital role. With the rapid progress made by the electronics and computers industry, manufacturing achieves micro level, i.e., Nanotechnology. In this paper, an effort has been made to highlight importance and applications of Precision Engineering.
