摘要

Recent efforts to enhance the safety performance of tower crane have focused on advanced technology and some artificial intelligence control theories. A new multifunction black box developed for tower crane is presented in this paper. Besides the data record and sequence of events record functions, it integrates many other functions, such as many kinds of limitators and load anti-sway control, load trace optimization control, etc.. The software and hardware of this black box are designed by platform concept. The design of this multifunction black box is described in detail in this paper and all of its functions have been validated by experiment in the LAB. This device is very useful for analyzing accident reasons, designing a new type tower crane more safely and economically, and ensuring the safety of tower crane.
