摘要

Small agricultural machinery SAM product is applied widely in agriculture, forestry and stockbreeding industries, which has small volume, autonomous power. A new approach to the modularisation of small agricultural machinery product based on axiomatic design is proposed. In particular, the principles of axiomatic design, i.e., independence axiom and information axiom, are reviewed and employed to examine for its application to the modularisation of small agricultural machinery product. In the paper, a case study of SF series gearbox of SAM products is used to illustrate the proposed approach, and the result shows it can be used well in module designing for small agricultural machinery product and be applied to other extended industrial products.
