摘要

The topological optimization of engineering structure is studied by method of evolutionary structural optimization (ESO). ESO method is based on such a simple optimization program: The material inefficient to objective function is removed step by step. Gradually, the structural layout evolves towards an optimum. In this paper, ESO method based on stresses under multiple loads is achieved by secondary development in ANSYS and the APDL (ANSYS Parametric Design Language) is used. Lift-arm of loader equipment is optimized by ESO method under multiple loads. Finally the minimal stress is 30 percent of the maximal and the maximal stress decreases from 272.7 MPa to 251.4 MPa, so stress distribution is more even and material deploying rate is higher. The results show that the method is efficient and practicability. This method can be used in topological optimization of continuum without any limit.
