摘要

Fault simulation and prediction is one of the key technologies to improve the reliability of complex weapon systems. In many cases, single simulation or inference mechanism cannot provide satisfied results. A new fault simulation and prediction model integrated with virtual prototyping and dynamic fuzzy inference is firstly put forward. As the hardcore part of the fault simulation and prediction system, virtual prototyping simulates the quantitative changes of interior parameters and the fault occurrence and development process from their initial states. The simulation results of collision forces and constraints are firstly given. To describe this complex dynamic process, a dynamic fuzzy inference process is proposed to predict the possible faults. Virtual Prototyping will confirm the actual faults in the candidate faults set provided by dynamic fuzzy inference. This fault simulation and prediction model contains not only quantitative simulation knowledge but also expert experience and decision. Besides, it also has powerful computation and process control abilities.
