摘要

The road load spectrum of automobile is very important for the automobile and components anti-fatigue design and test. In this paper, two methods are introduced for the measurement of the road load spectrum. One is called local load method and the other is called external load method. Time history data analysis technology is discussed by using rainflow counting method and metal fatigue theory. Power spectrum density analysis is adopted for separating signals with different frequencies caused by driving maneuver and road roughness. With wheel force transducer (WFT), the road load spectrum of several cities in China including Beijing and Tianjin is got. The road load spectrum can be used for evaluation of automobile and components fatigue reliability test and also offers guideline for the components anti-fatigue design.
