One of main contents of assembly performance analysis is tolerance analysis. The process of concurrent tolerance design of the digital pre-assembly system is expounded. The model of part size tolerance and assembly fit tolerance is proposed. Part size information and fit relationship information of the assembly is described by using the constraint relationship figure. Based on the size tolerance model and the constraint relationship figure, assembly dimension chain is generated by a series of reasoning. After introducing the process of tolerance synthesis in brief, the method of tolerance analysis is discussed by using extreme value theory and probability theory. And taking the radial fit of hole-axis for example, the assembly tolerance is analyzed by using the extreme value theory. The amending opinion of the design tolerance is proposed to solve the illogicality problem in analyzing fit tolerance. And the flow chart of assembly performance analysis is created based on the fit tolerance.
