Measurement of Radial Runout for a Lathe by Laser Based on Decreasing Eccentricity Twice

摘要

This paper presents a laser measurement method for the radial runout of the spindle on the lathe based on the methods of dynamic adjustment and frequency elimination.By this method,the eccentric distance between the center of a measured standard part and the rotational axis of the spindle can be successfully eliminated when the machine rotates at the working speed,which could reduce the potential sources of testing errors.The theoretical and experimental results show that the proposed scheme efficiently completes the lathe runout test with reliable performance and can be expected to serve as a new means for verification of machine tools.
