Risk assessment and risk management are implemented in different ways throughout the EU. After several accidents that occurred in Europe, the French authorities decided to make the risk management system evolving. This paper describes and discusses suggestions that will be implemented in the French risk management system according to the new law on the control of technological and natural risks.
