摘要

The design of a SRIN enables the user to perform an integrated reliability analysis of his system in the design phase. Reliability information like lifetime distribution and the failure parameters are deposited in the assembly or reliability objects. The system reliability can be calculated in the SRIN with the application of order relations, used assemblies or reliability objects. By comparison of the demanded and calculated reliability values a need for action can be derived till the predefined reliability demands in the design are fulfilled. With the SRIN the user has an appropriate tool that demonstrates weak points in design concerning reliability aspects. The semantic network supports all design activities in different areas and makes the design process more comfortable.
