摘要

Plane strain compression testing has been used to simulate hot rolling of microalloyed steel, at temperatures and strain rates typical of industrial finishing rolling practices. Samples have been held isothermally between passes for delay times ranging from 0 to 1000s, to study the progress of static recrystallisation and precipitation events. The flow behaviour and recrystallisation kinetics have been related to the size, number and location of strain-induced NbCN precipitates formed during the isothermal delay time.
