As a kind of advanced management idea, supply chain management (SCM) has played a very important part in forming our traditional medical circulation system in china. By means of applying SCM, we can change the path structure of current medical circulation and inventory strategy or operating pattern, and we can also establish regional medicine circulation structure whose business is spread among neighboring areas, with large-scale wholesale enterprisers center and local medicine commercial businesses as distribution paths, scientifically and reasonably designing inventory type, inventory place and inventory level, building electronic information path, developing e-commerce. All these can enhance the whole efficiency and benefits of medical circulation industry.
