Security is the management of relationships between an individual and protected resources. These dynamic relationships occur multiple times daily and can be modified and updated by various actions imparted by a governing organization to which the resources ultimately belong. In order to attain uniform security across an expanse of cyberspace requires security functionality be centralized so as to unify the security across and between organizations and between disparate platforms. Otherwise, we introduce counterproductive inefficiencies that diminish the advantages of utilizing automated systems that permit us to electronically share resources and collaborate across wide area networks.
