摘要

The specific free surface energy (surface tension) for nanocrystals of noble gases, aluminum and halides of alkaline metals has been calculated on the basis of the thermodynamic perturbation theory. The results obtained for nanocrystals with the perfect facing, demonstrate the growth of the specific free surface energy with the reduction of the particle size up to that corresponding to one lattice period. However, averaged over a nanocrystal ensemble, the surface tension reduces at the reduction of the particle size.
