摘要

Atomic power plant energies are one of the clean energies for earth environments, but have serious hardship for treatments of disposing spent nuclear fuels. New rare-earth doped scintillators were grown to change radioactive energies of spent nuclear fuels exhausted out of atomic power plants to UV-light, followed by making absorb into photocatalyses soaked in water to get yield hydrogen and oxygen gas. Broad and intense luminescence bands from 300 to 400 nm for CsCl:Ce fitted with the fundamental absorption band below 380 nm in a photocatalysis TiO_2 , exhibiting photon countings of 5 x 10~3 photons/MeV over as twice as standard CsI scintillator. For practical objects, also the fabrications of glass scintillators were attempted.
