Quasi-two-dimensional snow crystal growth in 2D and 3D space is simulated using classical two-parameter DLA model. It has been found, that a dimension of the simulation influences essentially the crystal morphology. As a result the application of 3D DLA models has the limited usefulness for the simulation of a snow crystal observed in Nature.
