摘要

A mesomechanical model is used to simulate the fracture process of double-edge notched concrete specimen subject to three different loading paths. In the model, the heterogeneity of concrete at mesoscopic level is incorporated in the numerical model by considering the concrete as a three-phase material composed of matrices, aggregates, and interfaces between them. The numerical simulation predicts well the crack trajectories of concrete specimen and proves that the shear fracture is actually caused by tensile damage at mesoscopic level.
