Timber connections using nail-plate fasteners are widely used because of their relative high load-bearing capacity and easy fabrication. This study discuss the analysis of different failure modes of several nail-plate truss joints from the load-bearing capacity and the stiffness changing point of view. In order to show the complex behaviour of these joints results of numerical, theoretical and experimental investigations are carried out. Based on these calculations we provide a global comparative analysis of nail-plate timber truss joints.
